Description

Located on the West End of Sanibel Island, this tropical beachfront condominium complex is perfect for romance and relaxation or a fun family vacation. This unit comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests between the spacious master bedroom with a king size bed, guest room with twin beds. The owner provides flat screen TV’s in each room a DVD player. From your 3rd floor screened lanai you can enjoy gulf breezes and view over the tropical lagoon, heated pool, hot tub and clubhouse. The clubhouse offers restrooms for your convenience and there is a recreation room where daily children activities are held. Enjoy a casual picnic using the gas BBQ grills around the lagoon, strike up a tennis match on the tennis courts, or try your luck at a shuffleboard game. Pointe Santo de Sanibel has 141 units situated in a U-Shape looking out to the Gulf of Mexico. All buildings provide elevators and wireless internet access throughout the complex. Per Pointe Santo de Sanibel's Condo Association Parking Policy there is one (1) guaranteed parking space for each condo. All other additional parking spaces are limited and first-come, first-serve and are NOT guaranteed.

Dishwasher and kitchen faucet need replacement. Beach umbrella useless as no auger. No beach chairs to take to the beach. So we had to buy them plus an auger to secure umbrella.

This condo is a basic 2 bedroom beachfront unit in a well run complex. It was furnished with the expected furniture, accessories, and supplies. All was satisfactory except kitchen faucet, dishwasher , and DVD player need an upgrade.

You'll be told that this unit is dated, but clean and well kept. This is absolutely true. The location is wonderful and the property overall has the beach, pool, tennis, etc. that you would want anywhere. But it is NOT modern in appearance or decor. Don't let that stop you from staying here; it is perfectly clean and acceptable. But nothing about it is modern, so don't complain. Property management company is very responsive and available; friendly.

Stay away from this unit until it is renovated. It is in desperate need of a deep cleaning, mold removal, and new beds. In addition, this is a beach condo and they did not provide beach chairs or beach towels. The unit was a huge disappointment. The complex, Pointe Santo, however, was in a great location, very nice with great amenities. The folks at Sanibel Holiday tried to make things OK, but the unit is in such terrible condition that we just needed to make the best of it. No grab bars in the bathrooms, broken tiles, mold on the shower curtains and in the air vents (disgusting), substandard cookware, pots and pans had peeling non-stick coatings (gross). If you're a chef, this kitchen is PRIMATIVE! The pull out sofa is from the 1990s and needs to be replaced. Just pass on this unit.

Overall condo is clean and pleasant. Decor is original but charming. The sofas in the living rooms needs urgent update, they are very worn out and look dirty. The shiwer curtains and walls in the master bathroom have black mold and need to be treated and curtain replaced. The office responded to no internet and Tv connection in the condo emails with generic reply that tgere was a damage to IT equipment but we were still without internet and TV for all stay.

The resort it self was very nice we will more than likely go back but the unit we rented D31 is kinda run down and needs a lot of maintenance to bring it up to the price we were paying Furniture,carpet and heating and cooling system are in rough shape we expected better for the price we payed. I’m pretty sure the owners wouldn’t live that very long without fixing a few things first.

I would not recommend renting this condo! When we arrived the kitchen floor was dirty with a lqrge spot in front on the refrigerator - my daughter cleaned �� t with h chlorox wipes. There are a couple large stains in the living room carpet and, obeying request to remove shoes at the front door, our feet were black by the end of the day. Not to mention long black hairs on master bathroom floor and tub. It’s a great location and close to the beach. Thank goodness cause you don’t want ti sit on the sofa. Sorry this is so negative but have stayed in this unit before but disappointed! BTW says sleeps 6 but only linens for 4.

The Holiday staff was very responsive and helpful. The complex was in a great location on the beach and just down the street from Baileys. The Unit could have been cleaner (tub and shower and kitchen) but the furniture and bedding was pretty tired which made it seem dirty even if it had been cleaned. It was actually 5 flights up and the elevator was out for a time.

I'm sorry your stay was less than perfect but we appreciate your thoughtful feedback and we will look into what we can do to improve the units furniture and decor. Elevator outages can be a real incovenience - my hope is that the elevator company was able to repair it and had it up and running again quickly.

It was perfect... plenty of space for my husband and I and our three kids. Very nice and clean. Beautiful landscaping and a great view of the ocean from our lanai. Lots of activities at the clubhouse for our youngest daughter. The beach was amazing... We looked forward to staying again in the near future.

Pointe Santo was a great place. D31 was very clean but dated. According to the property management company it is among 10% of the units that are original. Worked fine for us as we were only in the unit to sleep.

Notified Sanibel Holiday that we were in Ft Myers a day earl and if there was a possibility for an earlier check in. They called me at Noon and said come on down .... Check in was easy D-31 was fabulous clean comfortable . The outdoor area was screened in and a pleasure to hang out and relax the night kites in the outlets was so nice. The breeze that ran through the condo was awesome we very rarely used the AC. Grounds were terrific we will return soon!

We (2 adults and our 6-year old daughter) spend a great vacation at Pointe Santo.

Everything worked out as expected:
1. Weather - really hot in August resulting in laziness
2. Condo - exactly as described by the owner. It offered all we needed and there were various instructions (e.g. how to use the TV, washer & dryer,...). Very helpful!
3. Location - great beach location and very well-maintained property by the staff. Our daughter loved the kids activities offered in the club house. Mandy (the person in charge) did a great job and tears were running upon departure.

Personally I loved the dolphins and the pelicans. Hated the insects, which ate me up alive.
Running on the beach with the sunrise around 6:30 was my favorite routine. I could have stayed even longer...

A short 1-2 mile drive or bike path to downtown Sanibel. The owner provided a helpful summary of what to bring, shopping, and other information.
