Their doors first opened in 1971. Then owner, Ralph Woodring, grandson of early Sanibel pioneers and commercial fisherman, started the 100-year legacy that continues today with new owners John and Kimberly Munger.

The Mungers are Sanibel residents, originally from Fort Lauderdale where they still enjoy sport fishing and scuba diving. They, along with long-time manager Ron Taverna, and a courteous, knowledgeable staff are always willing to assist, and provide their customers with everything needed to get the most out of each fishing experience.
