***Please be aware that our island is still going through recovery. All public beach accesses are open, there are over 40 restaurants now open, and many stores including Jerry’s Grocery. The Causeway is currently under repair with 20 m.p.h. speed limit. Expect traffic delays coming on and off the island. Neighboring homes and condos may be making repairs so expect noise, trucks & equipment at your property and throughout the island. Occasionally some amenities in your complex may be closed. The pool, tennis & pickleball courts are now open***

Sandpiper Beach is a 27-unit, secluded Gulf front property that is tucked away on Sanibel Island beneath the swaying palms and lush vegetation. Enjoy cooking out on the community gas grills, strike up a tennis match on the courts, or try your luck at a shuffleboard game. The boardwalk takes you from the heated pool and sundeck area directly onto the wide sandy beach. Sandpiper Beach is sure to please every member of the family! Unit #506 is a 2nd living level (sorry, no elevator), corner unit. This spacious unit comfortably accommodates 6 guests with a king in the master, 2 twin beds in the guestroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Enjoy all new tile flooring and remodeled bathrooms (a walk-in shower in each) as well as new living room furniture. The owner provides beach equipment for your use.

The property was very , very well done ,comfy and everything you could ever want or need in the kitchen and for the beach. There was a minor issue with the shower handle ( brand spanking new ! ) the property mgmt folks were amazingly professional and responsive - pool was inviting and I would recommend a stay here 100% - thanks for a great stay !!

We had a wonderful week at Sandpiper Beach 506. Great location, very clean, terrific communication from rental company. Sanibel is recovering well from Hurricane Ian, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants open. Parks and beaches are in great shape as well. We will definitely be back.

We very much enjoyed our mid-December stay at Sandpiper Beach 506. The unit is bright, quiet, and comfortable. It it steps to the pool and a quick walk through lush vegetation to the beach. The beach is not at all crowded given the overall location of the property. The storage unit has everything you need for the beach and pool. The screened in porch completes this fabulous end unit.

We stayed in unit #506 for a week in late Oct./early Nov., our 1st but certainly not last visit to Sanibel Island. The complex was recommended by friends who go there every January. The grounds are very well maintained, beautiful vegetation and a nice pool, everything taken good care of, and it's so quiet, at the end of a dead end street. Unit #506 is on the top floor (2 flights of stairs) at the far end of the building which makes for a very private location. Beautiful views of the pool and ocean from there. Bikes provided, along with beach chairs (new ones would be nice), wagon, beach items. Beautiful boardwalk to the beach. The beach is incredibly beautiful, and you can't help but pick up shells along the way, they are everywhere! And you don't have to pay $5/hour for a public beach when you stay here. Unit #506 was very nice. One improvement would be a dryer that doesn't take forever to dry the clothes, I think it's an energy-effiicient unit. Would recommend this unit to other travelers. Fave restaurants: Cip's Place, Doc Ford's, Gramma Dots, Mudbugs. Activities: Captiva sunset cruise, tram tour of Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge, CROW wildlife rehab center.

What a bargain for all the moments of perfection.
I highly recommend the value season, specifically October, just prior to DST. Sunrise at 6:30, sunsets at 7:00. The late afternoon on Sandpiper’s private beach were times of sheer solitude. The sunrise at this location has its benefit, too(which is something we missed while on a recent West End stay).
Unit #506, when available, is always a first and also a highly recommended choice of place to stay. There’s a need to plan, to book early for this unit...it’s a very good one.

We enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Beach. Great hidden gem. Nicely maintained complex and condo. Private and quiet. The pool is very nice and a short walk to the beach. Condo was nicely upgraded and furnished. Kitchen was complete with everything you need. We enjoyed playing pickleball on the court, swimming in the gulf and biking the great Sanibel trails.

Our family of five absolutely loved this condo. Perfect location, clean, and just what we needed. The bikes provided were great, we brought our kids bikes down with us. One mile from Jerry's and shopping, quiet location, gorgeous beach. We will definitely be back, and plan on staying here again.

This property was clean and just as described. The location cannot be beat. I would definitely return. My only suggestion is to update the contents of the storage room. The bikes were unusable because the tires were flat and we could not even remove the cap to inflate it. It was stuck tight. On one of the bikes the tires were completely rotted. We ended up using rental bikes. Also, the beach chairs are very old with visible mildew stains. Other than that we were very happy with our stay.

Our family loved everything about our stay at 506 Sand Piper beach condo. The kitchen had everything we needed . We grilled out a few evenings at the grill close by outside . The newly updated baths were so nice . The beach storage room was complete with chairs , umbrellas, shelling tools , and even bikes !

This unit was recommended by a friend who has stayed here, and we are so glad we followed the recommendation! The condo is beautifully appointed with beachy decor, modern amenities, and gorgeous views of the Gulf and pool. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a great vacation. The storage locker was stocked with beach gear and the wagon made it very easy to tote it all to the beach via a short walk along a charming walkway. We were very happy with this rental!

We have been to Sandpiper many times, but never this particular condo. It was very nicely furnished with many recent upgrades - especially the bathrooms and the tile floor throughout. We liked being on the end in building 5 and the quiet atmosphere.

Two small improvements the owners might want to consider. The Mr. Coffee does not work well. The locks on door to the condo and the closet were very hard to open - sure it is the salt air - some WD 40 helped - might be time to replace.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks there and hope to repeat next year. We have never been thee in January before and even thought the weather was not perfect, it was a lot better than Indiana in January! We would certainly stay in this condo again if it was available!!

Great location. Well equipped vacation condo. Every thing needed to prepare gourmet meals or simple snacks. Even the knives were sharp. Washer - dryer was a bit tricky to use but we located the user guides and had no problems. Beautifully decorated. Gulf view. Covered parking. Well equipped for biking and fishing and days at the beach. Just bring your swimwear .Would definitely recommend.

We were extremely pleased with our rental of unit 506 at Sandpiper. We have stayed at this complex many times and can safely say that this unit was one of our favourites. The furnishings are nice and comfortable and the seaside ambiance of the whole unit was lovely.

The kitchen was extremely well supplied - every utensil and cooking equipment required was provided. We ate several meals in and having a fully equipped kitchen was wonderful.

We adore the Sandpiper complex - it is on the smaller side - only 5 buildings - and the pool is never crowded. The only thing to mention is that only charcoal BBQ's are available - you need to bring or buy briquettes if you wish to BBQ. Otherwise it is perfect.

What a nice rental. This was our first experience at Sandpiper. The location of this unit is very private. The view of the ocean is mostly seen from the master bedroom and a modified view from the lanai. It is farther back from the beach than what we are used to but it was welcomed as we saw less people. The unit’s ‘toy box’ is well thought out. There are 4 bikes (upon arrival one of the chains was broken so we hauled it to Bailey’s and Roger graciously fixed it). The unit is well-stocked and nice. The only negative is the dryer which is a ventless system. The laundry takes FOREVER even consistently emptying the condensation reservoir. With that said, I would have planned doing laundry sooner on our trip and put some pressure on us to ensure the 6 beach towels provided for the next guests�� Overall, definitely reserving this unit for next year. Of note, our adult children ages 24 and 20 loved the unit as well.

Once again out stay on Sanibel Island was the best way to close out our 4 months in Florida.

We have been staying at Sanibel for the past 8 years for Thanksgiving week and absolutely fell in love with this rental. We already booked for next year. The owners have thought of everything for this unit. Beautiful updates and location. We like the privacy it gives being in the top corner unit along with still having partial views of the Gulf and Pool. Thank you for such a great place to stay and sharing with us!

The decor is perfect with a modern beachy feel - just what you want when you are staying a the beach! The kitchen and baths are recently updated with the baths being gorgeous! The private storage locker is well stocked with beach equipment and guests love that it is on the ground floor so getting chairs and umbrellas to the sand is very easy! We loved staying in your property! The condo is clean and newly renovated. It’s a close walk to the beach and overlooks the heated pool. The porch is great for enjoying dinner or waking up early to read and watch the sunrise. We used the beach chairs and umbrella daily that are in the owners closet. The grounds are well kept and the beach is beautiful! I hope we get to visit again!

We've been making Sanibel our home away from home for nearly 30 years. Now retired, we visit 3-4 times a year. Sandpiper Beach 506 is easily one of the nicest units we've rented. The recent remodeling is wonderful, from the kitchen and living area to the bedrooms and baths. The lanai is perfect. Our only caution is that it's a long walk down the beach access to the beach, especially when loaded down with beach ware and fishing gear. A large, sturdy beach cart would be a very welcome addition to an otherwise very well supplied beach storage room. Absent the walk, we would stay in this unit again in a heartbeat. One other aside, the owner keeps a vehicle in the unit's covered parking space, which could be an inconvenience for physically challenged folks dodging raindrops.
