We picked a very nice condo with a lot of thought put into its design and it delivered in every way but the bed !
We just couldn't sleep on the master bed it was just too firm and hard for us.
Other than that we loved it. But the bed is rather important. We did not decide to renew for next year with the unit at same time and mainly the bed waa the reason. We need a different softer bed.
We will call back and see if bed has changed and keep eye on this one. We had some door maintenance issues 1st day and had those fixed. That was annoying but overall loved the place.

The condo was beautiful, clean and well-equipped. The only thing we found lacking was the fact that there were extra bed pillows in the closet, but no pillowcases for them. We especially loved the pool which was very clean and never crowded. This was our second year here and we’ll be back again.

Lovely condo that was immaculate and beautifully appointed. Cook ware and utensils were plentiful. Love the view, the pool, the tennis courts and the location. I missed that there is not a microwave, but no big deal.

This was our 4th year renting this unit for the same week. Unfortunately, no one told us that the washing machine for our clothing was broken. I figured this out when trying to run a large load of darks. Had to pull soaking wet clothes out of machine and wash in the sink. When I called to report that the machine was broken, the comment was, "no one told you that the machine was broken?" I Was only offered washing service for one load of clothes after I called and complained. Had to call three time during the week to ask for clean towels. The towels arrived on Thursday. We left Saturday morning. I would never knowingly rent a unit without a working washing machine.
The white couched shown in photo is stained and dirty. We covered the couch with clean sheets to sit on it for the week.
The beds had very light weight hospital blankets on them. No comfortable blankets in the condo and no bed spreads. We had to go out and buy blankets for all three beds. This is not right for the cost of this unit.
All renters on Sanibel Island need to be warned to bring bug spray. We got eaten up by small no see um bugs on the beach and when sitting in the condo in the screened in porch. No one warned us of this.
So disappointed with this stay. This is one of the most expensive condos to rent for this week and does not live up to the cost.

One of the best decorated homes we've ever rented. Very nice place. Great view. Comfortable setting. Kitchen island was terrific.
Well appointed kitchen and we did a lot of cooking. Only thing missing was some mixing bowls but overall we didn't miss anything else.
Beds were very comfortable with is a must for us. Would have liked an extra blanket since no comforter on the beds and it did get cold two nights that we were there.
Provided bikes were way better condition than the bikes you rent on the island. Huge plus that two bikes are provided.
Beach gear was also a nice upgrade. Three beach umbrella's, plenty of chairs and a pull cart all made for an easy day at the beach.
Overall, one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Highly recommend.

This rental was in a nice central location and has beautiful views of the gulf. It is newly remodeled and nice. There were no comforters, only one blanket and sheet set per bed. Also, we wish a beach umbrella and beach chairs could have been provided along with better beach towels. But the stay was very nice and relaxing.

Thank you for your review! We appreciate your feedback! The comforters have been removed from all beds as a result of our enhanced COVID protocols. Since the bedspreads can't be laundered or changed between each rental we have removed them and made the beds with professionally laundered sheets and blanket. We are surprised to hear about you not having beach equipment as this owner provides access to their lower beach closet which has chairs, umbrella, cart and other items for guests to use. We hope to see you on Sanibel again and would love to host you at 103 again!

We very much enjoyed our 2 weeks in Sanibel, and particularly this very comfortable condo...great lanai, attractive decor, and comfy bed. My only issue was the appliances (hence the 4 stars, otherwise it would have been 5). The ice maker was not working meaning we had to buy ice bags thru out our stay. The dryer was awaiting a part, so we were not able to easily dry towels/sheets, etc. The rental agency was very responsive and did provide fresh sheets and towels mid stay. I'd recommend this condo and would plan to come back and rent it again.

The rental was clean, well equipped, nicely decorated and in a great location. It is a short bike ride or drive to stores and restaurants. The building was quiet and the balcony had a good view of the ocean which was only a short boardwalk away. The heated pool was excellent and although we did not use them there are tennis courts and grills available. I would definitely recommend this rental.

They don't come any more stunning than Tarpon Beach 103! This owner went all-out in her design and high end finishes during a complete remodel of the unit in the fall of 2018. The ground level private storage locker is very well stocked, even 2 bikes are provided for the guests use! Of course, Tarpon Beach is always a very popular property due to it's smaller size with just 30 units, sweeping Gulf-front views and convenient location with easy access to many restaurants & shops. So many reasons to come back to see us again real soon!

Beautifully decorated & fully stocked home! We loved it so much we already booked for next year. I am a regular to VRBO/Home away yearly & this by far has been our best rental. Not only for the location but I've never rented a better equiped kitchen. It was such a relief to find the kitchen & bathrooms with extra paper towels & toilet paper so you didn't have to run out immediately to a store for these items. See you next year & thank you!!!

We loved this condo! Everything is brand new and high quality. The owners have obviously put a lot of care into the renovation of this unit. Really don’t have any complaints except for one - the A/C unit does not cool efficiently. Even though the unit ran pretty much constantly, it never completely cooled the unit. Ceiling fans and a small portable room fan helped with this. It wasn’t enough to make us regret staying here, though. We’d definitely stay here again!

The a/c unit was replaced at the time of the complete remodel that took place late last summer into early fall 2018. Beautifully remodeled condo with excellent view. Conveniently located and we really enjoyed our stay. The week we stayed was extremely hot and A/C had difficult time keeping condo cool. I would recommend an over head fan in living room to help circulate air on really hot days. The only other minor issue we encountered was utilizing our master bedroom closet with the end table blocking access to the door.

We have been coming to Sanibel for more than a 1/2 dz. years! The new "redo" on this unit is quite something!! Very high end finishes used & very colorful! Bed is very comfy! The view is perfect to see the Gulf. Just a short walk out to the beach also. Only a couple cons: disliked the fridge arrangement (bottom freezer & divided upper doors) & no luggage racks. Overall, loved another gorgeous week in Paradise!! Thank you!

This gorgeous condo is ALL new from a remodel in 2018. The new furniture is comfortable & beautiful; the bedding & mattresses are excellent; kitchen appliances are high end; WiFi, TV’s & cable perfect. The screened porch included a cushioned “love seat” that was so nice for reading (& napping!); my favorite spot!! The Tarpon Beach complex is so well maintained, quiet, and has a very clean, heated pool. Since our previous stay at Tarpon Beach, the boardwalk to beach was beautifully replaced; as was the pool area/showers. Clean restrooms at the pool area is a nice extra. We enjoyed using complex grill area, too. In our opinion, this is the best location on the island, too. We signed up for next year!!

This is our 3 year staying at Tarpon Beach and we couldn't be more pleased. Five adults fit comfortably and the location accommodates all our interests. Whether you're looking for a lazy beach vacation or one that is busy every minute with shelling, biking, waters ports, dining out Tarpon Beach is the place to stay.

**Please be aware that our island is still going through recovery. All public beach accesses are open, there are over 40 restaurants now open, as well as a several shops including Jerry’s Grocery. The Causeway is currently under repair with 20 m.p.h. speed limit. Expect traffic delays coming on and off the island. Neighboring homes and condos are making repairs so expect noise, trucks & equipment at your property and throughout the island. Some amenities at your complex may be closed. The pool, tennis court and boardwalk to the beach are currently under repair with no projected finish date. Beach access is via the neighboring public beach access at Tarpon Beach Road. **
