The condo was clean and bright. Had everything we needed for our two week stay. Complex was quiet and pool area was uncluttered and not crowded. Short walk or bike to the beach.

Great location and very nice new space after the hurricane refresh. Larger than expected main living area. Property manager was very on top of things and the call the day after checkin was a nice touch. My only one thought is that one roll of TP is a little stingy for a week long stay even though it does mention it in the letter, I also host and keep the vanities full of it. I would highly recommened to future guest.

This was a great place! The furnishings were lovely and it was so clean. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Hope we can stay here again in the future.

This is a 1 bedroom cottage in a small complex with a pool. It is walking distance to the beach. It is clean and well maintained. We needed a short term rental and this worked for us. We rented through Sanibel Holiday who we totally trust and have used for about 15 years.

Beautiful property. Easy walk to the beach, approximately 1/4 mile from the unit. Property had everything we needed for a great week.

We loved this little gem! The cottage was clean and neat and nicely decorated. The pool was absolutely welcomed after days at the beach, at Ding Darling and kayaking in Tarpon Bay. The management company checked in with us and was very responsive to our needs. We would chose this rental again.

We love staying at Sanibel Shores. The B1 cottage is perfect for the 2 of us. The location is perfect.
We can walk to our favorite restaurants and bars.
We can also walk to the beach. The pool is always very clean. We travel a lot and are very glad they have laundry facilaties on site.

A delightful cottage. The kitchen was fully equipped and very clean. The whole house was very clean. The two screened in porches were great for morning coffee. The neighborhood is very quiet. There was a CD player and CDs. Just a nice cozy place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is very well located and we enjoyed the screened in porch. Conveniently located to the beach and local restaurants, it was a great stay. The management company was responsive when we called with an issue. We'd definitely recommend Sanibel Shores.

My vacation rental was beautiful. My girlfriend and I loved every part of our vacation. The home was comfy and relaxing. Perfect location from restaurants and beach, walked almost everywhere. The staff was also super helpful with all issues that occurred.

Very well appointed place, clean and spacious. We had everything we needed for the beach, including a small cooler, umbrella and chairs. Small 5 cup coffee pot was perfect for two. No need to bring filters, there's enough in the cabinet to last the next 100 years. :)

Would recommend reservations at local restaurants as we were turned away from 4 before finally finding Dante's Kitchen at the outlets. Was surprised to have a superb burger.

Sand Bar, Doc Fords both Sanibel and Captiva were delicious. Sanibel Pizza was pretty good.

Overall loved this place, it was everything we needed.

I'll first preface this by saying my wife and I had a fantastic vacation experience in Sanibel. The island is perfect to slow down and mix beach days with mom and pop boutique restaurants. Every place is accesible!

So, we had a wonderful vacation but I wouldn't say that was because of our rental unit. I want to be fair but also honest about this specific rental experience. And assure you even if you stay here you will still have a great vacation.

First, the Good: The location is amazing. Right in the heart of everything on Sanibel and about .5 mile bike ride or walk to everything you want beach, restaurants, shops, ice cream, etc. The unit also came stocked with everything we needed for the beach which was huge to us. Solid chairs, great umbrella, beach towels,etc.

Second, the "okay": The unit is pretty much no frills and unimpressive. Not bad persay, but expect slightly outdated ammenities, stained beach towels, cracked floors, worn couches, stiff bed, mediocre bedding, etc. So, if you have the right expectations it's a good enough place for the price.

Lastly, the not so good: The unit was described as "Free" bikes included. When we arrived we noticed a note saying there were 4 bikes out front for our use. Well, there were only 2 bikes and 1 was completely un-ridable based on it's condition and the remaining bike was in rough shape. When I called the owner (mangement company) to request help I didn't get any help and was just recommended to go rent our own bikes and 0 offer to help provide them was made which was disappointing because bikes are the way to go on Sanibel. Also, Some of the "rules" and basic house items came with head scratching requirements. For example you only get 2 rolls of single ply toilet paper and then have to go buy more if you need it. Also, at the end of the week we had to wash and dry our beach towels at a community washing machine that required quarters which was just very inconvenient. Not a deal brea

Great vacation rental!

Very nice property with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing beach vacation!

This cottage was in a good location about a 15 mnute walk to the beach on a walking path. It was a very quiet neighborhood and not a lot of traffic. The 2 porches were wonderful. The house was very clean, roomy, and comfortable. We were very pleased and had a great week here.

We had a lovely stay! Sanibel Shores is located at the start of the “strip,” so easy to get into and out of. It was quiet and clean and had both a covered front patio and back patio. Laundry is across the courtyard and $1.50 each to wash/dry. Pool access and an easy bike ride or walk to the public beach at Nerita. This location is also an easy drive to the Lighthouse Beach and offers a back way to the beach and properties on the southern part of the island. Great a/c and fans in both rooms. We will be back!

After being with extended family for 10 days this was a perfect get away for just the 2 of us. The cottage was very clean, neat and organized. We had everything we needed. The grounds were natural so we saw iguanas, lizards and birds right in the yard. The pool was clean and refreshing. And our walk to the beach was delightful. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the Sanibel Shores! Everything was very clean upon arrival. The bed and couches were very comfy and the back porch was perfect for enjoying relaxing evenings. We especially enjoyed the bicycles and beach chairs that were included in our rental. We definitely plan to come back and would love to stay here again!

Other close-by rentals were empty, so I had whole complex and pool to myself. Heavenly! Close to beach, too (1/4 mile?).

We really enjoyed the property and the pool. It was nice and quiet yet close to bike paths and about a 3 minute ride to beach. The bikes need some TLC but worked great. The pillows are not great and the mattress could use an update but I still slept great. I loved the place and would stay again if the bed situation was updated.

We enjoyed the quiet and pleasant area, close to beach and bike trails. Lighting could be improved. Bedtoom dim gor reading, overhead lighting not eorking, bed top lighting hslf burned out. Kitchen iverhead light only really good place to read at night. No outlet in sink area. Had to dry hair and do makeup in bedroom, with cord across room.

This is a clean, well appointed retreat for those wanting to be active, but not in the middle of a crowd. The pool was lovely, the bikes were a blessing, the experience was fantastic.

Third time renting this unit. Very comfortable and clean. We love the location.
