Sanibel Shores has been our “snowbird getaway” for 9 years-but in a different condo. We love the small complex with it’s beautiful pool, landscaping, and perfect location. We stayed home during COVID in 2021 and were lucky enough to find and rent A-1 January-March 5, 2022. The owners were so kind and generous and allowed us to extend our stay. The condo is quaint, clean, comfortable, and suited our needs nicely. The Sanibel Holiday staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the bag of delicious citrus fruit! Our only suggestion for improvement would be to firm up the soft king mattress. If you enjoy cycling everywhere on the island, this location is perfect. We always bring our own bikes. Bikes are not included but rentals are available nearby.

We had a relaxing week in this duplex that was an easy walk to the beach, several restaurants (including ice cream) and a convenience store. We hardly used our rental car. The beach wagon provided by the owner made beach excursions easy. We were missing a cookie sheet to use in the oven, but once we let the property manager know, we received it quickly.

The rental was just as described in the advertisement. Very clean. Short walk to the beach. The beach equipment that was part of the rental was a tremendous benefit for us. We had some troubling figuring out where trash and recycling went but my husband stopped by the office got that cleared up. Throughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return sometime in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in Sanibel Shores A1. Everything was clean & there were plenty of linens supplied, games, dishes & silverware. There is a TV in the living area & one in one bedroom. The location is about 1/2 mile from the beach. We rented bikes for the week & what a bike friendly island!! An absolutely beautiful place to escape the spring snow in Colorado!! A family friendly cottage & place to vacation too.

We enjoyed staying here. Loved the screened in porch for seeing the sunrise, drinking coffee and eating lunch. Beach was a short walk. Restaurants were great on and off the island, especially if you’re a seafood lover. People were friendly. Kayaking in the mangroves was fantastic; we even saw a manatee. The only downside were the bikes they had on the property but Billy’s rentals is not far ��.

This was the best family vacation our family had ever had! The place was super nice and clean. Such a wonderful beach feel to it! The pool and beaches were amazing for all of us. This place made it feel like home but home away from home. Perfect beach cottage for our family! We literally had the best family vacation ever!!! The place was an amazing beach getaway with being close to a fantastic beach access and the private pool to dip into anytime. The screened in porch was a great too. The place itself was spotless and so clean and such awesome beach theme with WiFi and nice flat screen TVs. We definitely plan to come back each year if able to and use Sanibel Holiday. This cottage has been fully repaired and renovated and is ready for you to enjoy. Sanibel Shores is a small, quiet community of consisting of only eight units, located on the peaceful Sanibel River and within walking distance of the beach. Located mid-island near Donax Street, you are centrally located to dining and shopping and have good access to Sanibel's 25 miles of bike path. Sanibel Shores offers a complex shared heated pool.
Sanibel Shores A1 is a spacious & remodeled 2 bedroom/2 bathroom cottage with all new furnishings, appliances and HVAC system. The cottage comfortably accommodates 6 guests with new king bed in the master and 2 new twin mattresses in the spacious guest room and sleeper sofa in the living room. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, full size washer & dryer, 3 smart TVs and wireless internet. The terrazzo floors throughout the villa are very beach-friendly! Enjoy the outdoors on the small screened lanai where you can take in the beautifully landscaped grounds and mature tropical plants and trees.
The cottage has everything you need including beach chairs, umbrella and beach wagon. It is just a short 10 minute walk (or 5 minute bike ride) to Sanibel's world-renowned shelling beaches.
**Please note that Sanibel Island is open for business! Sanibel Shores A1 has been welcoming guests since March 2024. The pool is now open. All public beach accesses are open, there are over 40 restaurants now open, and many stores including Jerry’s Grocery. The Causeway is fully open with some traffic delays coming on/off the island. Some areas of our island are under construction, but this should not impact your enjoyment.*
