Beautiful Condo

Comfortable, well-appointed unit with magnificent views of the gulf. Beds were comfortable, great walk-in closet, and nice shower. Kitchen has all the tools you need if you all cooking in.

Loved the view and complex amenities. A larger pool or a second pool would be nice. Our unit could use a deep cleaning to get a few areas a little better. Wifi and living room tv was out more than it was on. Unit could use an upgrade on furniture. AC in unit didn’t cool evenly through out the unit. Wasn’t a fan of the keyless entry due to it not working very easily.

The Sanddollar property is a great location, beautiful beach and pool. Unit 204 had several issues during our stay. Air conditioner, bathroom ceiling leaking to name a few. The mgmt company was very responsive and easy to work with. This unit is dated- needs new beds, new bedding, kitchen update and better washer and dryer. (Shrunk clothes) It has the gulf view but needs interior update. The beach closet was nice. We have rented less expensive beach front on sanibel and had a much nicer unit. I would recommend Sanddollar but B204 needs to be updated to command the rental fee it charges.

Thank you for your feedback. We have passed along your comments to the owners; they are planning on replacing the mattress by November of 2022. They are also planning on updating the bathrooms and make a few improvements to the condo in 2023. We do hope you had a good stay even with the hiccups you encountered. Always stay at sanddollar condos. They ALL face the ocean, have screened porches, and are only 3 stories. The outside and pool are well maintained. Clean. This condo was very nice and had all amenities we needed.

This is a wonderful little condo. It does need some TLC. Laundry doors need replacing and the master bed mattress is in need of being replaced.

The Sanddollar Unit 204 was great. Very spacious, wonderful ocean view, great pool, tennis courts, and the unit came with everything you needed. We loved the screened in front porch and large master bedroom. The only complaint we had was with the sofa bed. There were 5 of us so my son had to sleep on the sofa bed. It was very uncomfortable and there were no extra sheets provided for it. We contacted Sanibel Holiday as soon as we realized we didn’t have any sheets but they close at 5 on Saturday (the check in day- which I find incredibly annoying for a rental company to close 2 hours after you are allowed to check in and they aren’t open on we had to wait until Monday for sheets. There should be at least one person responding to these things over the weekend especially during the busy season. For this reason I’m not sure I would rent from Sanibel Holiday again.

HiDef was not available on the TV. Main seating couches are warn out and need replacing. Kitchen could use a deep cleaning. Bedroom furniture is very old.

Property was clean and amenities were as described. Enjoyed the heated pool and tennis courts. Thanks for suggestion to rent bikes by Sanibel Holiday staff. Only drawback was the beach chairs are very cheap and uncomfortable and the kitchen essentials are bit outdated and mismatched. I would recommend this property.

We have stayed in this unit several times. We love the location and the extras, like beach chairs and beach towels. The rental company is always friendly and helpful. Would have given 5 stars but the bed in the master needs the mattress replaced, due to it having a sink hole on one side. We will definitely be back.

We have stayed in this condo unit several times with the previous owners. This was the first time through Sanibel Holiday. I would have given a 5-star rating across the board, but dirty dishes in the cabinets and the amount of ants in kitchen kept me from doing so. I am aware of ants, but a few too many this time. They got in our sealed food which we stored in the microwave and the oven. The dishes and glasses had dried food on them from the dishwasher. Even with these minor issues, we love this condo and have even rebooked for this coming December. I would like to make a suggestion regarding the kitchen. When we arrive with our groceries, there is no open cabinet space for our food. I end up rearranging all of the drinking glasses to make space for a jar of peanut butter, coffee, spices, etc.

**Please note that Sanibel Island is open for business! Sanddollar B204 has been welcoming guests since March 2025. All public beach accesses are open, there are over 40 restaurants now open, and many stores including Jerry’s Grocery. The Causeway is fully open with some traffic delays coming on/off the island. Some areas of our island are under construction, but this should not impact your enjoyment.**The pool is currently open. Tennis/Pickleball courts are to be removed and rebuilt and a new boardwalk to the beach is coming soon. Currently there is no timeline for this work, however there is and will continue to be beach access via a sandy path. Parking is limited and we can only guarantee parking for 1 car. If you have an additional vehicle, please reach out to Sanibel Holiday to discuss options. *

Welcome to paradise at Sanddollar B204!

With just 36 units, Sanddollar is a small, family-friendly property off Middle Gulf Drive. Each condo offers stunning, direct views of the Gulf. With all new furnishings and coastal inspired decor, you and your guests will step into "vacation mode" the moment you enter the front door. You will be greeted by breathtaking views of turquoise water and a pristine white sandy beach. Take in the views from your open concept living room/dining room/kitchen or step out on to your private, screened-in lanai. With space for dining or lounging, it's the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the shore birds on the beach or to linger over an evening cocktail before heading out to one of the many wonderful island restaurants.

Unit B204, is a spacious 1300 sq ft 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom Gulf-front, corner unit that comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. The primary suite features an en-suite bathroom with double sinks, large walk-in shower and spacious walk-in closet. There is also a small balcony that is accessible from the primary suite with views of the sunsets, pool and tennis courts. The second bedroom offers 2 twin beds, perfect for family or visiting friends. A completely remodeled bathroom is just outside the guest bedroom for easy access.

Prepare gourmet meals in the beautiful, brand-new kitchen, boasting quartz counters, stainless steel appliances and custom cabinetry. The “chef” will find everything they could need, and more, in this well-stocked kitchen.

Beach equipment is stored in your private storage locker on the ground floor. Keyless access to enter both the unit and beach storage means never being locked out or having to carry a key. Beach towels are provided for your stay.
