We have been coming to Sanibel for almost 40 years and stayed at many properties. Our previous favorite is still not available since Hurricane Ian so we had to find a new place to stay. I guess there is a silver lining.

Perfect place to vacation! Close to the beach 5 minute walk though the complex. All beach gear provided. Beds are comfortable, condo is bright and cheerful with everything you need to cook. This is the second time we have stayed in this unit and we definitely will again! Sanibel Holiday and the host are easily reachable should you need anything.

We had a great time at Loggerhead Cay 313. Nice accommodations, with responsive and helpful management. The pool is apparently one of the biggest condo pools on Sanibel, which was all our kid cared about... so the place was a hit.

This immaculate third-floor condo has comfortable furniture, an abundance of linens, and a well-equipped kitchen. There is one dedicated parking space. A screened lanai containing plush seating offers a pleasant space for reading and relaxing. Down the hallway near the elevator you’ll find a storage area containing individual units’ beach equipment. The one for 313 is packed, including a wagon to haul items the lengthy walk to the beach. I found the master bathroom tub too tall (perhaps 18”) to use safely. The access to the second bathroom’s shower is quite narrow, but safer. The management company was very helpful in figuring out which of the 3 remotes controlled the living room television. Each of the unit’s 3 televisions uses a different signal source, very confusing. The owners obviously love beach life, as tropical pictures and decorations abound.

We enjoyed our week in this property. However it's a bit far from the beach being in the last blog. Kitchen was not well supplied - minimal covers for pots and pans, only 4 knives, etc.Bed was super comfortable and porch furniture was nice.

This rental unit was awesome!! Well worth the money. Very clean and absolutely had everything we needed. We greatly appreciated the beach chairs, toys and the wagon to tote them to the beach. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was a real blessing. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay!!

The unit has everything you need & is very comfortable. Our one comment, & it is a personal preference, the bed is firmer than we like.The unit has enough beach equipment for a party; numerous beach chairs, noodles, floats, umbrellas, etc.

We stayed in 313 Loggerhead Cay for a week between Christmas and New Years. I have never rented such a CLEAN condo @ the beach before! I appreciated the abundant towels, new carpet, puzzles for kids, etc. We felt very safe in this condo as we saw the security guard constantly and the grounds were super tidy too. My only (sort of) slight criticism was that we were all freezing at night because our beds didn't come with comforters or any sort of coverlet (just a sheet and a few blankets for four). We 'made do' by sleeping under beach towels so maybe future guests can clarify that when renting linens. Other than this, I would absolutely rent this unit again. It was an easy breezy way to enjoy Sanibel for the week.

Great layout for 2 families or couples. Big kitchen. May want to bring staple items as it's six dollars to get on island. There are 2 local grocery stores though. Only issues was with elevator floor being repaired and closed half the week! Used Tortuga pool next door as Loggerhead pool being resurfaced. Jellyfish on beach was unpleasant but we beach hopped and had fun. Take your handicap placard if you have one as beach parking is free at alot of spots with it.

We spent two weeks here in July, 2020. We have been visiting Sanibel for the past 15 years each summer and have stayed at Loggerhead Cay many times. 313 is certainly the best condo that we have stayed in at Loggerhead Cay. It is on the third floor and gives you a nice view of the courtyard. The condo is loaded with amenities. We will most certainly be staying here again next summer.

If we were forced to critique it, my only complaint would be that it’s a long walk to the beach carrying chairs, toys etc. But we enjoyed the exercise and made the best of it!! The location of our condo was amazing, just a short walk to the beach. Keep in mind walking up stairs to get to the unit. We used the kitchen every day to cook. So beneficial to have laundry and dryer in the unit. We took advantage of watching Netflix on the TVs (needs a subscription or can do the free trial). The management team was superb, we would definitely recommend this property.

**Please note that Sanibel Island is open for business! Loggerhead Cay has been welcoming guests since December 2023. The pool, tennis and pickleball courts are now open. All public beach accesses are open, there are over 40 restaurants now open, and many stores including Jerry’s Grocery. The Causeway is fully open with some traffic delays coming on/off the island. Some areas of our island are under construction, but this should not impact your enjoyment.**
Welcome to Loggerhead Cay 313! Walking through the door you'll think you are in Cabo San Lucas with the cheerful decor! A third floor 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit located in one of Sanibel’s largest condo communities, with 168 total units. With bright and tropical decor, your family will be ready for a week of Island time!
The updated kitchen is perfect for preparing a quick breakfast at the kitchen island or a gourmet meal served at the dining table. After, you can head out to the screened-in lanai to relax and enjoy a cocktail, the courtyard views and the warm Gulf breezes. At the end of a long day of sunning and shell hunting, cool down in the the living room watching your large flat screen TV or make some treasured family memories playing one of the many board games provided. The living room provides a brand new pull out sofa for an extra guests. The condo is outfitted with high speed internet and Wi-Fi. At the end of the day you can retire to your comfy king bed in the master bedroom with on-suite and TV. The guest bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed, TV and a private bath.
For outdoor fun, the owner provides access to their private storage locker with 2 beach chairs and a beach umbrella for your use.
Loggerhead Cay is close to many restaurants and shops along Periwinkle Way and is just a short stroll to the beach.
This is a dog friendly unit (25 pounds or less & 1 dog per property) with a non-refundable fee.
Loggerhead Cay complex amenities include: a heated pool, gas grills, pickleball/tennis courts, shell washing station, shuffleboard and direct gulf access.
