This was our 10th visit to Sanibel Island and we have never stayed anywhere but Loggerhead Cay. The property is still beautiful even its recovery stage from Hurricane Ian. The condo was in Tip top shape and very well equipped with all the day to day needs. You don’t even notice the subtle maintenance going on to make repairs. The inner courtyard and pool are still very beautiful. The beach and shelling were amazing as the fishing the best around. We caught many snapper, snook, and jacks during our stay. The only downside was there are limit places to dine but more are opening each day. It’s different lost hurricane but it is still the most beautiful place in the world. The locals still say they are 3 years from full recovery. Loggerhead cay has done a wonderful job making sure accommodations were available. The staff at Sanibel Holiday was very helpful and checked in on us several times via text and phone calls. I highly recommend both Sanibel Holiday and Loggerhead cay.

We have stayed at Loggerhead Cay several times. This was a great unit on the 3rd floor of Building 2. It was nicely decorated. My only complaint is that the kitchen wasn't as well-equipped as other units we have stayed in. Several of the pots we needed for cooking did not have lids.

As always sanibel didn't disappoint. We come down 2 times a year. The property was nice and it's coming back. The bed was comfy. The whole condo was done uo very well. The people at sanibel holidays were as always great. We liked the location but the beaches were a bit crowded. But that's on us for going down around spring break. But as always we were on vacation so it really didn't matter.

The Condo was ready and waiting when we arrived. Everything was clean and the promised "starter supplies" were in place. We had been warned about the construction noise and associated traffic but it was easy to work around. We didn't try to leave when the roads were busy in the afternoon.
We loved our time on Sanibel and the accommodations added to our experience.

Lovely location. Complex was well kept and offered wonderful beach access. One issue we had was the carpet in the unit. It needs changing. Unit was good size, some things a bit dated, but pics accurate. Couches and carpet could use a refresh. Overall a good unit, would be excellent with those couple changes. Management was great.

We love this beautiful condo. It has everything you need and is a comfortable home away from home. We've stayed here 3 times. The decor is pretty and well kept and we found the mattress comfortable too~which is BIG! The grounds at Loggerhead are always beautifully kept. We enjoyed a lovely stay.

We had a lovely week escaping the Northeast at this condo. The community facilities are well maintained and notably more sound-proof than other places we have stayed. We loved enjoying the morning sun on the lanai and watching the sunset out the front door. A few minor maintenance items were quickly resolved (note: two of the best beach chairs were broken but there are still 4+ chairs available). Well stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings (note: one of the chairs is a recliner), several jigsaw puzzles to complete. Beach was a quick walk from the unit. The only small downside was that the twin beds could use an upgrade.

We really enjoyed the Loggerhead Cay facility, location, tennis courts for pickle ball, pool and its grassy courtyard. This unit however is a little tired. The washing machine needs to be replaced immediately as the spin cycle is excessively loud. We couldn't carry on a conversation while in the unit - it could be heard in the parking lot two floors down! The smaller bedroom has peeling paint on the ceiling and one twin bed has a stain on the box spring. The smaller bathroom's shower had some black material (mold?) on the inside of the shower at the floor - so this needs either a deep cleaning and/or caulk removal and replacement. The kitchen's pantry has a rollout drawer that is broken. Overall, we really enjoyed Loggerhead, it's just that this unit needs some updating. We wouldn't consider this unit again unless some updating occurred.

Our experience was good. A few things that might be taken care of are: removing cracked bowls, platter in the kitchen. The light outside the master bedroom did not work. The lamps on either side of the bed plugged into the outlet behind the bed did not work so we plugged them into the outlets beside the bed. Was this a fuse problem? The twin bed mattresses were not comfortable. The pool was great as one could swim laps.

We had a great time. We stayed a week and loved every minute. It was a very short walk to the beach. We strolled the beach every day and enjoyed looking for shells. We also rented bikes and rode all over the island. We never ate a meal at the same place because we wanted to try as many places as possible and we were never disappointed. We found the condo very neat and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. This was a great place to relax and have some fun.

**Please note that Sanibel Island is open for business! Loggerhead Cay has been welcoming guests since December 2023. The pool, tennis and pickleball courts are now open. All public beach accesses are open, there are over 40 restaurants now open, and many stores including Jerry’s Grocery. The Causeway is fully open with some traffic delays coming on/off the island. Some areas of our island are under construction, but this should not impact your enjoyment.**
Welcome to Loggerhead Cay 263, a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with a partial angled view of the sparkling Gulf of Mexico! This tranquil condo features an open concept kitchen, dining and living room with plenty of elbow room. The fully stocked and updated kitchen features shaker cabinets and sparkling granite making meal prep a delight. The living room offers a dining table for 6 and the owners have recently installed wood plank luxury vinyl flooring throughout and purchased new living room furniture. You'll find the en-suite master bedroom a serene oasis at the end of the day with a comfy king size, and flat screen TV. The guest bedroom features two twins and a flat screen TV with plenty of closet space for family or guests.
Relax and enjoy the warm Gulf breeze on the screened-in lanai that overlooks the tropical courtyard and heated pool. Whether you are looking for a quiet, serene experience or a sun filled, exciting, action packed vacation, Loggerhead Cay 263 is the perfect choice for making treasured, family memories.
This is a family friendly complex with 168 units and a short walk to direct beach access. The owner provides beach equipment for your convenience. Located only a short distance from the Sanibel Causeway as well as the shops and restaurants along Periwinkle Way.
Loggerhead Cay complex amenities include: a heated pool, gas grills, pickleball/tennis courts, shell washing station, shuffleboard and direct gulf access.

We did have issues with water for shower; the water would not get hot or became cold after 2-3 min in the shower. Customer service response was quick, but he only told us that the water tank is small (20 gal) and not to take 2 showers at the same time or use dishwasher and shower at the same time.
After leaving I realized that we forgot an Apple Watch charger at the unit; I contacted customer service; they said they will check with cleaning crew; I am still waiting for a response and it has been 4 days.
We will probably pick a different unit, since we stayed at the same complex 3 yrs ago and did not have any issues with showers/
