This property is stunning! The views are beautiful of the beach from sunrise to sunset. We felt very comfortable during our stay and loved every minute. The communication was superior from booking to our stay's completion. You will not be disappointed!

This place is awesome and it’s right there on the beach. The unit is beautiful and comfortable. There is no complaint about this unit at all. I love it there and wished I had onto leave early to my pet sitter having a medical emergency.

We rented this property strictly because of the views and its location, and the reviews are spot on. Jim is a super and thoughtful host from directions to place to eat and things to do. The place was clean and had comfortable beds. The view and location was awesome and quiet. Great time for sure. Stop browsing and come here its that easy.

Golden Beach #4 is perfect for our family. WThe property has been completely renovated since Hurricane Ian and is spacious and has all the amenities you need. The best part is, the property sits right on the beach!

The unit is spacious and minutes from the beach. At the end of the street so was very quiet. The quantity and quality of the beach chairs, umbrellas etc. was the best of any unit we've stayed in. Had a couple of issues which were addressed promptly by the owner and realtor. Liked it so much we booked for next year.

This is the 8th year we have rented this gem! The location and view is unmatched. The renovations to the townhouse after Hurricane Ian are superb. The owner makes sure everything in the unit is perfect. We have signed up for our 9th year. Looking forward to being there in 2025!

From the start there were many many text messages exchanged with a lot of good information everything was great, we were told about the stairs before we arrived, but you have to go up 4 flights to get to the bedroom .2
Flights just to get upstairs and then another two flights to get to the bedroom. My husband fell down the second flight of stairs in the rain and really hurt himself. We had a period of four or five hours with no electric and we were told to listen to the ocean. Not that we could control mother nature but there were NO flashlights or lanterns or much of a concern. My 80-year-old mother ended up slamming her toe into the couch and had was limping the rest of the time. The master bedroom bed is on a total strange pitch and not comfortable at all. The toiletries you are given are ridiculous when you are made to stay 7 days. I do not feel like spending $100 on cleaning supplies once I arrive to an Airbnb including toilet paper and basically everything. You get a "starter kit" that looks like it is made for a child and will last one day. All we did was request some grace in the morning to check out keeping in mind the four flights of stairs the elderly mother with the smashed toe and the husband that fell down the slippery stairs we were not moving too quickly... and there was a very hard NO and people with clipboards out there at exactly 10 am A little too anal for us... And the noseums were out of control!! other than that great location

Sanibel is still in recovery, but it was amazing to see the progress. Plenty of open restaurants, with more opening soon. Expect delays on the Causeway, repairs are still impacting traffic flow and looks like they will keep things at a slow pace for a while.
Received a call from the owner just checking in on us, thought that was very kind. And good timing, he provided the passcode to the garage where the beach chairs (and bicycles) are located. The garage door opener was inoperable, should be up and running now (Sanibel Holidays was getting it replaced).
The property only lacked one thing, a recliner in front of the windows for those afternoon naps when hiding from the no-see-ums LOL. The property had all the things we needed, and more (except for that recliner).
Beach was great, shelling was fun, the Gulf was perfect. Great time of the year to visit.
We used the pool, transitioning into the Fall months the water was a bit chilly. The property HOA turned up the temperature which made it very comfortable. There was a downside to the warmer pool water temperature, the cold pool water provided a relief from the itching caused by them no-see-um bites. Very well appointed, clean, and well situated property! Had a few questions and owner texted back promptly. We enjoyed our week there and are looking forward to a return trip already (we just got home 2 days ago). Kitchen is nice, and all rooms show great pride of ownership. My favorite chair looked out to the beach. Easy 2 minute trek to the water. Pool looked great and the neighbor condo renters used a bit. Thanks for a wonderful week!

as you state already in the details this property is not feasible for those w health or mobility issues. lots of steps inside and out as well as distance to the gulf. a lot of walking even when the boardwalk is replaced. perfect for a family. i do not appreciate the owner being given my cell phone number nor do i remember signing that i approved.

Great stay , lovely setting. Nice to have 3 bedrooms . Pool was great never busy. The garage was full of great beach gear, umbrellas, chairs, bikes, fishing poles, sand toys and pool floaters. We had a fantastic time. Only one small thing drain in bathroom a little slow and kitchen could use some upgrades and baking pans. Otherwise fabulous!!!

There were five of us (plus 2 small dogs) down for our 12th year in Sanibel/Captiva. The condo was exactly as advertised. Lots of space, great location near many restaurants, grocery stores, and best of all...The beach.
Everything worked well at the facility & we had no issues. Every step of the way (from check-in to check-out) was easy.

We had an amazing vacay in the Golden Beach #4, check in was easy and friendly. The condo had plenty of beach chairs, bikes, a wagon and a beach cart, plus sand toys for the kids! The layout was great, view was gorgeous, pool was smaller but perfect as there are only 4 condos using it. Quite honestly we rent condos on beaches all over multiple times a year and I can usually find something to complain about, and the only thing missing in the whole week was the coffee table glass top! (which the previous renters broke and it wasnt able to get replaced while we were there) but that was not missed in comparison to everything else that this condo has to offer!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The condo was spotlessly clean, even the furniture fabric- In a pet friendly beach rental that regularly sustains sunblock sweat stains and dog paws to boot! The owner called us to make sure we were comfortable and had many good suggestions for restaurants and activities. The management company immediately dropped by to provide us with the HDMI cable someone must have walked off with.
The condo itself has been updated along the way with some wonderful improvements some of the others in the complex do not have. By enclosing the balcony, the living room becomes very open and large, with a grand view of the water. On mild days, you can slide the entire wall open so the whole living space becomes one massive balcony. We miss that view. I always appreciate being able to cook while still being a part of the living room action, which the layout provides as well.
On the first floor, the garage keeps the car nice and cool. You have to open SUV back doors outside of the garage so you don't hit the raised garage door, but this is understandable in a beach condo that was built before those types of cars were made. The washing machines are the right size for beach towels. And there is a separate wet room directly behind the garage that has been enclosed, which opens onto the deck facing the beach. This room was extra helpful in giving us places to put beach stuff! The deck also has multiple washdown hoses and a shell rinsing station. The whole setup really helped to keep sand out of the main house.
By mid afternoon, the pool is mostly shaded so we could hop in without glopping on a bunch sunblock. The condo is located on a calm, quiet, beautiful residential street. Both grocery stores are just down the road. The beach was lovely, with lots of smaller shells and various wildlife. We had everything we needed and never wanted to leave.
We were so happy to have such a nice pet friendly rental!
The condo itself has been updated along the way with some wonderful improvements some of the others in the complex do not have. By enclosing the balcony, the living room becomes very open and large, with a grand view of the water. On mild days, you can slide the entire wall open so the whole living space becomes one massive balcony. We miss that view. I always appreciate being able to cook while still being a part of the living room action, which the layout provides as well.
On the first floor, the garage keeps the car nice and cool. You have to open SUV back doors outside of the garage so you don't hit the raised garage door, but this is understandable in a beach condo that was built before those types of cars were made. The washing machines are the right size for beach towels. And there is a separate wet room directly behind the garage that has been enclosed, which opens onto the deck facing the beach. This room was extra helpful in giving us places to put beach stuff! The deck also has multiple washdown hoses and a shell rinsing station. The whole setup really helped to keep sand out of the main house.
By mid afternoon, the pool is mostly shaded so we could hop in without glopping on a bunch sunblock. The condo is located on a calm, quiet, beautiful residential street. Both grocery stores are just down the road. The beach was lovely, with lots of smaller shells and various wildlife. We had everything we needed and never wanted to leave.
We were so happy to have such a nice pet friendly rental!

Golden Beach really does have it all....3 bedrooms (2 of which are set up as Masters with Gulf Front views!), 3 bathrooms at a incredibly small 4 unit property. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you could possible need for your beach vacation with an incredibly well stocked garage full of beach equipment. The only thing this property is missing is are absolutely correct! Ghost Ants are a common pest on Sanibel but I hope the bait provided sent them packing quickly! Please make sure we are aware a unit with an elevator is your preference next time so we can provide you with the perfect options for your Sanibel stay!

I liked the fact that there was a second master with a second king bed. The third bedroom is small but would be fine for two small children. We loved our stay here.

Golden Beach 4 is by far the best rental we've enjoyed on Sanibel Island, and we've been vacationing there for the last 40 years. The location is just unbelievable - right on the beach with incredible views - you can hear the waves crashing on the beach in the evening. You practically have the pool to yourself. The property has recently been beautifully remodeled and is very well maintained. Golden Beach 4 is part of a 4-condo complex at the end of a very quiet residential street. The property management company was very good. The owner called on our first day to make sure we were happy and that everything was in order - he really cares whether you're having a good time and makes suggestions of things to do and places to go. We were so impressed that we've made arrangements to go back next year!!

We arrived in a blinding summer storm. All luggage must be carried up to second floor without cover. The main stairway is covered in slippery bathroom tile. It was so dangerous. You must be very careful to not slip even when it is not wet. All the garbage cans were filled to overflowing and stayed this way until Wednesday. No room for more bags so we had to leave it in the garage. Tried to wash beach towels on Sunday and the washer was not working. Called the rental office on Monday to find out they knew about the problem, but did not tell us. They promised it would be fixed right away. A part had to be ordered. On Tuesday when they returned the part did not fix the problem. Finally, on Thursday they brought a new washer. They did offer and take our clothes and towels to be washed and returned them Wednesday morning. When I initially called about the washer I was told, "Well, it is only Monday and you arrived on Saturday, so you shouldn't need a washer right away." We had children ages 2 and 5. Needless to say, I will not use this realty company again and I told them this several times. The vacationers in the condo adjacent to ours, Golden Beach #3 were also very unhappy with the garbage, plumbing issues, and their washer and dryer were broken the entire week.

Sanibel Holiday responded very professionally and quickly when the air conditioner in our unit broke on check-in day. The unit itself was very clean and modern. Slight negatives were that the charcoal grill was dirty, the bike was rusty and had leaking tires, some umbrellas were broken, no privacy blinds in the windows facing the ocean so we had to keep it dark every night (sea turtle ordinance). But altogether we had a wonderful vacation right on the beach.

The condo is situated in a great location and is in short driving distance to all shops and restaurants. We had a fantastic week on Sanibel... highs in the mid 80s and sunny all week save one afternoon of clouds. Property is very well kept, clean, and provided many unadvertised extras like buckets, nets, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Fantastic, private location at the end of a short dead end road. Great beach, plentiful shells, not crowded (even on weekends). Owner Jim offered advice on restaurants, etc. and was very friendly. Hit the farmers' market on Sunday morning for the weeks' groceries... a great idea from the property management company.

The townhouse is spacious and offers everything you need for a great and relaxed holiday. The shared pool become a somewhat meeting point for the kids (also from our neighbors) and they spent hours playing there together.

We were in Sanibel for a family reunion. 13 of us had rented two homes. 6 of us were in Golden Beach 4 and 7 were in an old but renovated house a couple miles down the beach. We were happy in our rental and had, for the most part, everything we needed. It is definitely a rental, though, and not someone's home that is rented out. The views from the living room and 2 bedrooms are fantastic and you're right on the beach. The two upper floors are separated from the extra room on the first floor and can only be accessed from the outside. Most of the furniture seems new but some aspects are definitely worn. We would still consider coming back to this unit.

We enjoyed the wonderful Gulf view from our bedrooms (and from the living room) and often we saw dolphins passing by.

This property is located in paradise. The views and atmosphere are outstanding, and idyllic hours of shelling await a few steps away on the beach. The condominium is large, spacious, and pet-friendly. Both the owner and management company were exceedingly responsive to any requests. We enjoyed a lovely, relaxing three weeks.

We had a fantastic week on Sanibel... highs in the mid 80s and sunny all week save one afternoon of clouds. Property is very well kept, clean, and provided many unadvertised extras like buckets, nets, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Fantastic, private location at the end of a short dead end road. Great beach, plentiful shells, not crowded (even on weekends). Owner Jim offered advice on restaurants, etc. and was very friendly. Hit the farmers' market on Sunday morning for the weeks' groceries... a great idea from the property management company.

Sanibel Island was the perfect place for our family and grandparents. The location was right in the beach and the townhouse had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the welcome phone call from both the property management company and house owner. Wil definite come back next time we plan a trip to Sanibel!!

**Please note that Sanibel Island is open for business! Golden Beach #4 has been welcoming guests since March 2023. The pool is open. All public beach accesses are open, there are over 40 restaurants now open, and many stores including Jerry’s Grocery. The Causeway is fully open with some traffic delays coming on/off the island. Some areas of our island are under construction, but this should not impact your enjoyment.**

A gorgeous, secluded, Gulf-front property at the end of a shell strew road which consists of only four townhomes. This unit is just steps away from Sanibel’s world-famous beaches with direct beach access as well as the heated swimming pool. This rare find features so much elbow room with 2,000 square feet, three bedrooms, 2 of which are Gulf facing with spectacular views, two-and-a-half bathrooms and sleeps 8.
After a fun sun filled day swimming in the warm waters or searching for the perfect shells, relax and enjoy some family time playing a game and making memories in the gorgeous sunroom. With such amazing views, you may even spot a dolphin or 2!! The townhome features an open floor plan with plenty of room in the living room for everyone to lounge, and enjoy a home cooked dinner created from the updated kitchen. Make your way upstairs to the second living level where the primary bedroom has a king bed and en-suite bathroom. Another guest room also boasts a king bed and the 3rd bedroom provides 2 twin beds. The owner provides flat screen HDTV’s for each bedroom and the living room with DVD/Blu-ray players and HBO/Showtime channels.
Everything you need is provided in this 3 level, 2 story living space, including a ground level cabana with refrigerator and seating area that is easily accessed from the pool or beach, and a spacious garage to store all your fishing and beach gear. These are just a few of the highlights that make this unit so desirable.
For outdoor fun, you will find a charcoal grill, beach chairs, beach umbrella and beach towels along with a beach wagon to help carry all your gear as you head out for a day at the beach. As an added amenity the owner also provides 6 bicycles, perfect for exploring Sanibel’s 25 miles of bike trails.
