Rental was clean and comfortable. Ample number of towels. Comfy beds. Quiet surroundings. Short walk to the beach. Representative from Sanibel Holiday called midweek to see how our stay was going.

Breakers West A4 offered a wonderful stay. The condo was newly renovated, well appointed and perfectly located. Sanibel itself is still recovering from Ian but the rebuilding in no way impacted our enjoyment. Would highly recommend.

This is an absolutely beautifully-appointed condo! Upon leaving, my husband and I agreed this would be our place from now on (if it’s available!) It’s just a short, sandy walk to the beach, and the shelling is insane at this location! The location was perfect, as it was just a quick trip up Tarpon Bay to get to Doc Ford’s and our favorite, Over Easy Cafe.
Our original reservation was with another company and they told us 3 weeks before our vacation that our condo would not be completed (from Ian) in time. (Note: be sure the condo is READY when you book. Construction always takes longer than you think it will!) We were forced to find another place at the last minute. We were so thrilled to find Breakers West A4. Then Milton hit. We were sure our vacation would be canceled. The management was excellent in staying in touch with us and letting us know we could come! They were amazing! Then, they kept in touch about everything throughout our stay.
The xfinity tv system allowed us to log into our own Netflix account and watch our shows. I’m mentioning this because we didn’t figure it out until two nights before we left. Hopefully, this will help you not wait so long!
The beds were comfortable and had lots of pillows. The bathrooms and showers were great. They give us a nice “starter pack” for the washing machine, kitchen, and washer. If we’d had any problem, I’m sure they would have been very responsive.
The kitchen was also well-appointed. Beautiful dishes and LOTS of coffee cups (which we loved!) New pots and pans were awesome. Actually, everything looked new.
What else can I say? It was a fantastic experience and we look forward to our next visit!

The beach was close, only a few minutes to get there. Lots of shells for shell collectors. The unit was well appointed and very comfortable for my daughter and I.
The storm was a little scary when the building was surrounded by water and the electricity went out.Also the fire alarm went off for hours.
Please thank Tammy and Angie for supporting us during that time. They knew the right things to tell us, and made sure we were safe and as comfortable as possible. We would definitely come again.

It’s important to note, Sanibel Island is still in full recovery mode from Hurricane Ian!! So, it is important for visitors to be kept aware of all the changes/improvements (I.e., businesses that are open/still closed, etc.) and Holiday Sanibel exceeded all expectations in this regard!!!! (Thank you!!). They sent list of businesses that were open throughout the process. They checked on us upon arrival and even mid-week to be certain there were no issues!! (Thank you, again!!). As for the property, it was better than advertised!! Note: the aforementioned Sanibel recovery effort does mean that there is ongoing restoration but it seemed to us that much respect/consideration was given to the working hours so as not to interfere with vacation plans/rest!!

We came from Pennsylvania to celebrate my grandson‘s birthday. The place was beautiful. I could tell it was just refurbished after the hurricane. Everything was great. My only suggestion would be there were no baking supplies per se for us to bake the birthday cake. One other problem that we had was the one bathroom door people kept getting locked in the bathroom and had to be rescued from the outside. And the door Knob on the first bedroom door kept falling off. Otherwise no complaints. The place was beautiful and very well stocked and supplied.

The rental was as pictured on the site. The beach was within walking distance and beach chairs, umbrella, towels and toys were provided. We put these to good use. The rental was comfortable for four people and the condominium pool was steps away. The condo complex was quiet and safe. We could easily drive, walk or bike to restaurants, shops and bike/walking trails. All in all, we really enjoyed our vacation, the weather, wildlife and island were great. I do think the kitchen area could have been cleaner as I grabbed a pan, which was greasy on the bottom. In addition, although there was a TV in the bedroom, there were no batteries in the remote and the one in the living room would not transfer to it. Although these were not major problems, they should have been remedied. In addition, when they say parking it tight, they are correct. We had one space, but could not accommodate family visits as there was no where for them to park. Although inconveniences, they did not affect our stay or relaxation.

Overall a very nice place. We enjoyed our stay. The shortcomings of this rental were kitchen not well equipped for cooking - pans for cooking were in need of replacement. Not enough pillows or blankets in this unit for the beds - and pillows were in poor condition - flat. In need of replacement.

Check in was easy and the location was nice and quiet beach access was easy. there were many trails on the island to explore. Local grocery store was a little expensive. lots of restaurants to chose from close by. Pool was nice to have right at your back door. Will visit again in the future if going to a beach in Florida.

The property mgt office and the rental property were a little difficult to find at night, instructions should be updated as the driveway is no longer shared w/ Waterside Inn. Buildings are very close together so getting in and out and parking was a bit challenging. But overall, it was a good experience.. property well maintained and nice. Love love love Sanibel!

The four of us escaped winter for six days on Sanibel. We went shelling and swimming at the beach which was an easy one-block walk from the condo. There were many wonderful restaurants just a short drive away. Doc Ford's and the Lighthouse Café were a couple of our favorites. We would end our day with a swim in the warm water pool located right out the back door of the condo. The condo, the pool, and the surrounding grounds were very well-kept. There were beach chairs and nets for shelling as well as noodles for the pool and a boogie board. The property was exactly as described on the website. We enjoyed our stay so much that we wish we could make it an annual event!

Terrific condo. Not on the beach, but just a short stroll. Loved the lanai which looked at the beautiful grounds. Well maintained property. We liked that it was a small complex. Quiet. Condo was newly decorated and spotless! Did not want for anything. Beach chairs and unbrellas were there to use. Full size laundry. Comfy beds. Kitchen and bathrooms were practully new.

From different Midwest locations my three sisters and I met in Sanibel for a reunion. We enjoyed every moment of our stay including the cleanliness; lovely, coastal-style decorating; the 500 step walk to the beach; collecting seashells; seashell museum; wildlife refuge; great restaurants. Two restaurants we loved were The Sandbar for crab cakes (walk-able from the rental) and Cip's Place for cioppino and the daily seafood feature.

We have stayed at Breakers west the last two years. This unit (A$) appeared to have been upgraded recently. It was clean and quiet. The furniture was quite comfortable. The pool area was very nice. The only issue was a broken dishwasher that was not handled during our stay.

From different Midwest locations my three sisters and I met in Sanibel for a reunion. We enjoyed every moment of our stay including the cleanliness; lovely, coastal-style decorating; the 500 step walk to the beach; collecting seashells; seashell museum; wildlife refuge; great restaurants. Two restaurants we loved were The Sandbar for crab cakes (walk-able from the rental) and Cip's Place for cioppino and the daily seafood feature.

Terrific condo. Not on the beach, but just a short stroll. Loved the lanai which looked at the beautiful grounds. Well maintained property. We liked that it was a small complex. Quiet. Condo was newly decorated and spotless! Did not want for anything. Beach chairs and unbrellas were there to use. Full size laundry. Comfy beds. Kitchen and bathrooms were practully new.
We rented bikes, but it would have been nice if they were included.

The four of us escaped winter for six days on Sanibel. We went shelling and swimming at the beach which was an easy one-block walk from the condo. There were many wonderful restaurants just a short drive away. Doc Ford's and the Lighthouse Caf were a couple of our favorites. We would end our day with a swim in the warm water pool located right out the back door of the condo. The condo, the pool, and the surrounding grounds were very well-kept. There were beach chairs and nets for shelling as well as noodles for the pool and a boogie board. The property was exactly as described on the website. We enjoyed our stay so much that we wish we could make it an annual event!

***Please be aware that our island is still going through recovery. All public beach accesses are open, there are over 40 restaurants now open, as well as many shops including Jerry’s Grocery. The Causeway is currently under repair with 20 m.p.h. speed limit. Expect traffic delays coming on and off the island. Neighboring homes or condos may be making repairs so expect noise, trucks & equipment throughout the island. The pool is open.***
